Meg and I spent this labor day weekend with our good friends Brad, Becky, Rob and Camille at Brad's family cabin in Southern Oregon. The cabin was right on the shore of Klamath Lake, which is about 45 minutes south of Crater Lake National Park. We spent the weekend hiking, paddling, and playing board games. Although the weekend was filled with many highlights, winning at
Settlers of Catan was not one of them. Meg and I were 0-2 for the weekend. On the bright side of not winning, Meg and I didn't get into a fight...which usually happens when one of us wins.
It was a fantastic weekend. Below are some pictures from the weekend, with more pictures posting on our
Flickr site.

Crater Lake - Remnants of Mt Mazama volcano

Current day volcano, Mount Meg. Equally explosive

Nothing explosive here, but plenty of gaseous emmisions

7 am paddle with the pelicans (or penguins according to Meg)
