Although you would think that 1.5 months after our last post we would be done by now. But the project hit a wall...which turns out to literally be the wall. Tiling a wall is an absolute bitch and painstakingly slow. The intricate cuts required to go around all the wood work, fighting gravity, and dealing with incompetent people from Home Depot have all caused this part of the bathroom renovation to drag on for weeks.
We've tiled and grouted most parts of the wall, but some nooks and crannies still remain to be finished. The toilet has been installed (much rejoicing) and we finally found a sink that works in the space. Next weekend will be one giant push to finish it off minus a few odds and ends. Cross your fingers, but don't hold your breath.
